The site where the National Bank and Trust Company of Norwich building now stands (built in 1959) was the location for the Charles Ives’ summer home and livery. The gracious Victorian house was demolished when the bank was built.
The Hobart Presbyterian Church occupied part of the lot where the bank’s parking area is now located close to Railroad Avenue.
