Many years ago,,, about 70, when we lived at the Montgomery Homestead, behind Blondey's, I would ride my pony, Rexy, down over the hill behind Blondey's and wait for Liz to come out with a carrot for Rexy...many times, it was not Liz

Dear Mr. Rich:

The above was written a long time ago, and I am hoping you are still receiving mail. My grandfather was Will Hickok, so it was exciting to see this reference to him. And are you by any chance related to the Rich family of Delaware County?

Best Wishes

does anyone remember Worth Vrooman's shoe shop? He and his wife Nancy lived in Hobart for many many years.
I am trying to find out more about them. They had a son, Harry and daughter Bessie. Bessie was a dress maker.
According to the census in 1910, it said Nancy had 5 children, but only two living. What cemeteries are near there?
I can't find any online.
Any information would be appreciated
Thanks

Pete was a classmate of mine and I remember his tragic death as if it was yesterday. I remember going to his funeral and his casket was filled with teddy bears. Our SKCS Class of 1960 designated our yearbook to him and another classmate who died of a brain tumor in 7th grade.
