A Piece of Hobart History

One half of a telegraph set used by the J. B. Rich store and the late Wallace H. Rich. It was located in his home on the River Road, and connected to the store, which was across from the present-day Coffee Pot, nearly three miles away. A demonstration was given by Mr. Rich’s great-grandsons, David and Kevin Jensen at the Hobart Historical Society’s open house during the Hobart Horseshoe Festival. (Photo by C. Schoen)
